The Bald Eagle State Park is situated in the North-Central part of Pennsylvania. The unique feature of this park is that it is situated beside the beautiful Bald Eagle Mountain and a serene lake. The dense forest and open fields magnifies the park’s beauty even further. In a sprawling area of 5,900 acres the Park provides recreational facilities along with a wide range of natural flora and fauna. The Lake covers more than half of the area of the State Park, which is a major attraction. The breath taking scenery of this forest park amazes the visitors.
Bald Eagle State Park Directions
The Park is along PA Route 150 between Milesburg and Lock Haven. From the western side one has to take I-80 to Exit-158, and take PA Route 150 north for about 10 miles. From the East I-80 is taken to Exit-178 and then US Route 220 north is taken, then one has to take PA Route 150 south for about 13 miles.
